Feet

The feet provide a sturdy base for the printer. Each one has a self-leveling rubber swivel pad on an M8 bolt that is adjustable up to 20mm. Taller swivel foot bolts can be used if you want to raise the printer higher. The feet also house the tensioners for the Z-axis belts. In the rear there are some swappable nuggets in case you want to put something else in there.
Initial kits came with M8 threaded swivel feet that had heights of 100mm in instead of the originally designed heights of 80mm. This is not a problem because unless the printer is straddling a gap or on a table with a hole in it, the additional height allows for more room for collection of parts beneath it. The smaller 80mm feet can still be installed; you’ll just need to print this version of the Foot Height Knob Cap.
